When I joined NewFaces.com I was very curious about what type of work the website would bring me. After a couple weeks, I was able to audition for GLEE. Though I got turned down, I was able to audition for B.E.T.'s Rip the Runway on March 2010, AND MADE IT. I’m now looking forward to auditioning for Spring Bling 2010 and with New Faces by my side, ANYTHING is possible. :)

One day after I signed up, I had 3 offers from photography companies and multiple audition offers for different movies and commercials. It has always been hard for me to pursue anything in my life that would make me happy due to many hard times, including struggles through poverty and homelessness. My mom would always tell me "Ryan, one day your face is gonna make people smile. And not because they think you look funny!" (: My mom has been a great supporter to me, and helped me get out from the great lump in my life. So for her, I promised myself she would one day look out that second story apartment window of hers, through the starry night, and see my face on a billboard, or on T.V. So I decided to give back what people gave to me by getting my face out there, and at the same time helping other people too. I know how important one hand can be of help to someone. And the most recent hand who is helping me is New Faces.

So many opportunities are coming to me now, and it's all thanks to newfaces.com! I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am to newfaces.com for helping kickstart my career! I just recently got into a huge photo shoot with a NH based company called G?GN?N Photography, and got my face posted on different titles of local magazines. My name is being said everywhere locally, and I'm hoping it will go national soon.

New Faces is the best online portfolio I have discovered to get contacts and promote myself with other artists in the industry.

I have done a few commercials in Toronto, Canada when I was 15 and then moved on to doing runway modeling with a few South Asian magazines. I also recently did a shoot with Fashionstudio7, which is an online magazine targeting fashion in Toronto.

Personally, a lot of modeling has to do with having the greatest attitude. Never lose the attitude and you'll do great at anything.

Being on New Faces is a dream come true.

After joining, a small group of people called me up and asked me to be in a short movie. I was ecstatic! New Faces launched my small but amazing online movie career. I starred in online movies that were made with little budget but were hilarious and would touch hearts just the same. My name is Jasmaine and in the little time I have been on New Faces.com, I have had more success with promoting myself and finding work in my local area.
