EXCITING NEW SITE UPDATES!
We are always working hard to implement your suggestions for the New Faces™ site. As you may have noticed, we've updated the New Faces™ interface and features! The revised site launched on March 1st and we've gotten nothing but positive feedback from agents and members alike. Here are some of the new features we've added already and some we'll be adding over the next couple of weeks:
- SCOUTING! We are always looking for new models to fulfill the demand from casting and modeling agents - now you can help! Get paid for each member* you refer (*see scouting terms). Learn more about scouting
- Be a Model and Actor - Now, for a small one-time fee of $27.95, you can have your portfolio displayed in both the models and the actors categories. You can also select a different main photo for each category, so you can put a swimsuit or fashion shot for your main photo in the model category and your acting headshot as your main photo for the acting category.
- Member Testimonials - You can now send a testimonial to any of your friends on the site and link your portfolios! Your testimonial, once approved, will show up on their portfolio along with your photo and a link to your portfolio. Bonus: increased exposure!
- More Message Credits - We've increased the number of message credits that upgraded members get per month. You can use them to contact photographers and other members about working together.
- Favorites & Notifications - We added a new section called 'Favorites' where you can easily add members and keep a list of your favorite portfolios. You can also be notified by email when members on your favorites list add new photos or travel. You can also save your favorite searches and be notified when new members join that fit that profile.
- Color Customization - We've added a fun feature to help you further express your individuality. Now upgraded members can select their favorite color for the background and table color in their portfolio. Now the only issue is which to choose.. pink? green? blue?
- Photo Crop Tool - We've added a photo cropping tool to your LaunchPad to help you get the most out of your photos. We've also beefed up the Photo Tips section, so please have a look (it's in your LaunchPad).
- Upgraded Faster Search Core - We used the latest technology to rebuild our search core from scratch, which means that the search pages will now load almost three times as fast.
- Site Design Improvements - We built in easier navigation and ease-of-use, which means that you should be able to find what you're looking for faster.
- Improved Image Protection - Some of you complained that your images were showing up in Google Images searches, so we've fixed that problem. We've made it so that if someone clicks on your image in Google Images, they are automatically redirected to your portfolio, minus the Google frame. We've also put a New Faces™ watermark on all large images and added code so that images can't be copied from the pop-up window, which will keep people from stealing them.
