Post subject: Free Movie Screenings and Entertainment Workshop |

The Public is invited to attend the free movie screenings and entertainment workshop that will take place this Saturday June 9th at The Northland Mall in Southfield.
When: Saturday June 9th
Where: Northland Mall In the Truth Book Store - Southfield, Mi (Free admission for everyone)
Time: 3pm to 4:00pm (meet the cast of each film in person!)
After the screenings there will be a free “Breaking into entertainment workshop” with multi award winning filmmaker Tim Greene, and Detroit actress Aliyah Royale who just completed a film with Loretta Devine and Vanessa Williams. Detroit’s international singer Beth Griffith (daughter of 3-time Grammy Award winning Motown pianist "Funk Brother", Johnny Griffith) will also be on hand to give everyone tips on what it takes to break into the business and to stay focused. Beth was also the stand in for Whitney Houston in the new movie “Sparkle”, which was filmed in Detroit. There will be over 50 prizes given away during the workshop including a home theatre projection system, mp3 players and 30 new cell phones.
The films shorts that will screen are The Re-programmers, Supa Kidz and 73 year old Rappin Granny. The films were shot in Detroit and Southfield Michigan with local actors and crew.
