Personal Introduction

Anyone that knows me will say I am one of the most overly ambitious, hard-working individuals they've ever met. I suppose it's true; I am determined yet easy to work with, feisty yet chill, calm, and collected, and I never strive for anything less than the best in myself.

I'm interested in interesting characters; I won't play just any part. I'm not looking for quick fame, I just want to act. I'm easy to work with, reliable, and mature (but not a stick in the mud, either!) Give me a chance and I'll work my fingers to the bone to get the job done.

I grew up on a 1000 acre ranch in Southeast Idaho, so I'm very much a no-nonsense Scotch-Irish country girl, but I have a deep love and desire for the city. I love traveling, I love learning how to do new things, and I'm not afraid of a little dirt or nature. I'm a pretty tough cookie, I don't whine, and I'm not a drama queen.

I am also an aspiring fashion photographer and consider myself an artist in all regards. I am a natural performer, having been a competitive figure skater and ballet dancer. I'd like to consider myself in tune with the ways of human nature, which has also given me a natural talent for acting. I have a huge passion for film in general: acting, cinematography, plot and character, etc. It all fascinates me and I must act! It's in my veins!

I have a flexible schedule as acting is my top priority and I am willing to travel. I am most interested in both union and nonunion films, especially since I have a goal of being a member of SAG within the next two years!

I strongly believe that given the opportunity, I can prove myself in the film industry as a lead actress. I am responsible, reliable, independent, and open to direction. No drama here, no luck either, just hardworking and determination!

I recently got married and am living in San Diego, CA, but have been traveling to Los Angeles for auditions, etc. I have no problem traveling!! I love it!

My instructors were Carol Whiteleather (academic director for Idaho Shakespeare Company and stage actress), Phil Atlakson (has written professionally for Paramount pictures, Robert Redford's Wildwood Productions, and 20th Century Fox), and Gordon Reinhart (professional theatre and film actor). I have had some Shakespearean, monologue, dialogue training as well as plot and character analysis.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
Figure skating, horseback riding (grew up on a ranch), rockclimbing, manual transmission and four-wheeler driving, ballet and jazz dance, photography, some piano and singing, I can swim but not long distances, British accent (working on Cockney, Irish, and Scottish).
