Anti-Wrinkle Bra At Paris Lingerie Show

A new anti-wrinkle bra that can iron out crinkly cleavages as a woman sleeps will be unveiled at the Paris lingerie show on January 23-25.


"The Dutch designed cupless anti-wrinkle bra by Decollete is supposed to be thrown on at bedtime keeping breasts apart to prevent the formation of feared crinkles that appear in the night."


Aside from the anti-wrinkle bra, there is also a smart Slovenian brassiere whose foam cups expand with body heat when the wearer works out or flirts. Lisca's "smart bra" have cups made of memory foam that ebbs and flows with body-heat, said to be a NASA patented technology from the 1960s.

Also highly-anticipated in the upcoming lingerie show is the range of French lingerie called Milkshake that is made of milk proteins fabric that contains 10 amino acids to hydrate the skin.

Then there's Brazil's LZ with an ultra-light bra that weighs in at 67 grammes (two ounces).

These new lingerie innovations are among the many high-technology designs that will be presented during the end-month Paris trade fair.

"High-tech's playing a growing role in underwear. Take ultra-sounds for example, now used as well as laser technology to cut and construct garments without seaming or stitching," said the fair's fashion manager Sophie Morin.

The Paris fair is expected to draw in 20,000 lingerie types from more than 100 nations with more than 500 brands to showcase.

Debenhams' Live Lingerie Models For Men's Holiday Shopping

Following the steps of XOXO's NYC shopping windows where models can be seen changing clothes, a London department store also hired models to help men pick out items for their ladies this holiday.


Debenhams Oxford Street branch in London used live lingerie models to help men pick out lingerie. The models were of various shapes — apple, pear, and hourglass-shaped bodies in sizes 8, 12 and 16. They walked around in lingerie inside the department store for a day while men chose the women with curves resembling most closely to their ladies.

"The idea was a huge success, with our male shoppers commenting on what a great idea the event was at this time of year," said spokeswoman Ruth Attridge for Debenhams lingerie department.

Using live department store models to help men buy the right-sized lingerie came from a research conducted by Debenhams, which showed that almost two-thirds of men do not know their partners' bra or knicker size.

The unique solution had male shoppers walking away with the perfect fit from 30 brands and 70 bra sizes on show.

Top 10 Sexiest Lingerie Models On The Planet

The hottest lingerie models on the planet have been revealed through a survey carried out by leading online retailer Wickedelic Lingerie.


Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima tops the poll. The 28-year old lingerie model is one of the most popular Victoria's Secrets Angels. She's also a spokesmodel for Maybelline cosmetics.

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is on the second spot. The sexy 31 year-old Latina who plays Gabrielle Solis in the hit TV series has posed for a saucy underwear campaign eight years ago "when she was a struggling actress eager for her big Hollywood break."

Ranking third on the survey is world's highest-paid supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Another Hispanic beauty, the 29 year-old Brazilian used to walk the Victoria's Secret runway in lingerie. She has been dubbed as "the biggest star in fashion history" by The Independent. Aside from being one of the sexiest woman in the entertainment industry today, she is also the sixteenth richest woman in the entertainment world with an estimated $150 million fortune as reported by Forbes.

Playboy sensation Amy Lynn Grover ranks fourth while FHM digital darling Carlee Ranger lands on the fifth spot.

Supermodel Kate Moss, 35, is the 6th sexiest lingerie model on the survey. The British babe is famous for posing in lingerie in her waifish figure, thus she has been dubbed as the "anti-supermodel" who exudes sexiness despite not having a curvaceous and tall figure.

Sexy pop singer and actress Kylie Minogue is ranked 7th. The 41 year-old Australian is famous for wearing lingerie, pin-up, and showgirl costumes in many of her performances.

British top model Daisy Lowe is the youngest in the group, ranking 8th on the sexiest lingerie models at barely 20 years old. She has already made numerous editorial photo shoots and commercial advertising campaigns and has also worked as a runway model.

American stage and screen actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, 31, is ranked 9th. Her sexiness exudes not only in wearing skimpy lingerie but also in defending human rights, civil liberty, and active participation in anti-poverty campaigns.

Burlesque artist, model, and actress Dita von Teese completes the list on the 10th spot. She has been into glamour and fetish modeling and has made a name in her work with her retro pin-up look. The 36 year-old "Queen of Burlesque" is famous for wearing corset.

Wickedelic Lingerie has carried the poll and has been voted by its customers during the launch of the brand's search for the UK's next lingerie supermodel. The leading online retailer company is in search for twelve real girls to be given glamorous makeovers and become pin-up stars. They will then face a public vote with one going on to become the "Face of Wickedelic Lingerie."

Nick Grant, spokesperson of Wickedelic Lingerie, says "When you look at the survey's results, you'll see that most of the top ten are as popular for the way they relate to the public, as their appearance. This has inspired us to find the new Face of Wickedelic Lingerie in the biggest, and most fair lingerie model search of 2009, where every girl that enters will have an equal chance of winning this once-in-a-lifetime prize.

"We're looking for twelve girls from around the UK who can emulate these TV presenters' warmth, confidence and likability, whilst the lingerie makes them look a million dollars. Aside from being over 18 years old, there are no age or size restrictions, and we're looking forward to seeing the very best of British beauty, in all its forms."
