Cristiano Ronaldo Flexes For Emporio Armani

Here it is. The most-awaited shirtless action from Cristiano Ronaldo. He is the new face of men's campaign for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans Spring/Summer 2010.

Just like that of Megan Fox, his first advertising campaigns for Armani have been shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

The Real Madrid star is all-praised by Giorgio Armani for his masculinity and youthful charm:

"Cristiano is a great looking man with the perfect physique of an athlete. For me, he is the essence of youth - spontaneous, exciting, a real maverick. It is for his energy that I have chosen Cristiano to become the new face of Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear - for his youthful, exciting and yes, sexy, attitude."

Giorgio Armani has always been a fan of sportsmen (particularly footballers). Over the years, he has come to dressed many of the world's fittest and handsomest athletes for his campaigns, including David Beckham, Luis Figo, Thierry Henry, Christian Vieri, Fabio Cannavaro, Andriy Shevchenko and Kaka'.

For his new role as the face of Armani, the 24-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo says:

"I am very flattered to be asked to represent Armani; Giorgio Armani is a legend in the fashion world and I have long been a fan of his work. I am very pleased with the pictures we have done together - they are certainly striking and are full of an attitude and spirit that I can relate to."

Cristiano Ronaldo's Armani campaigns will roll out starting February around the world in sport, fashion and lifestyle magazines and on signature billboards in the major cities of New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo.

Anti-Wrinkle Bra At Paris Lingerie Show

A new anti-wrinkle bra that can iron out crinkly cleavages as a woman sleeps will be unveiled at the Paris lingerie show on January 23-25.

"The Dutch designed cupless anti-wrinkle bra by Decollete is supposed to be thrown on at bedtime keeping breasts apart to prevent the formation of feared crinkles that appear in the night."

Aside from the anti-wrinkle bra, there is also a smart Slovenian brassiere whose foam cups expand with body heat when the wearer works out or flirts. Lisca's "smart bra" have cups made of memory foam that ebbs and flows with body-heat, said to be a NASA patented technology from the 1960s.

Also highly-anticipated in the upcoming lingerie show is the range of French lingerie called Milkshake that is made of milk proteins fabric that contains 10 amino acids to hydrate the skin.

Then there's Brazil's LZ with an ultra-light bra that weighs in at 67 grammes (two ounces).

These new lingerie innovations are among the many high-technology designs that will be presented during the end-month Paris trade fair.

"High-tech's playing a growing role in underwear. Take ultra-sounds for example, now used as well as laser technology to cut and construct garments without seaming or stitching," said the fair's fashion manager Sophie Morin.

The Paris fair is expected to draw in 20,000 lingerie types from more than 100 nations with more than 500 brands to showcase.

Cristiano Ronaldo Is The New Body Of Armani Underwear

Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo is the new model of Armani underwear and jeans for its new worldwide advertising campaign. This is according to Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani.

As an international soccer sensation, Cristiano Ronaldo is dubbed as the "new official worldwide testimonial" for Armani. The 24 year-old hunky sportsman has played for Spanish club Real Madrid and the national Portuguese team.

Cristiano Ronaldo's ads will start in spring-summer 2010. He will replace football superstar David Beckham who has also posed seductively for Emporio Armani Underwear campaigns last year. David Beckham, meanwhile, is developing his own line of men's underwear.

Mark your spring-summer 2010 calendar ladies because there will be lots of shirtless (and pantless) action for Cristiano Ronaldo by that time!

Underwear Models Vs Runway Models

Runway models are typically identified to be slim and flat-chested so as not to distract the clothes they wear with their humps. Underwear models, on the other hand, need to have more fats to flaunt them.

Recently, an underwear model made news when she openly criticized Model of the Year Jourdan Dunn for being medically underweight.

Let's hear it for underwear model Katie Green:

"I think it is disgusting that Jourdan won (the award). What kind of message does this send out to young girls, aspiring models and even us normal women?" "At a size 12 and 5ft 10in I am at the bottom of a healthy body mass index, so if I had lost any weight when asked I would have become medically underweight. I want to march Jourdan down to her local restaurant and shovel some food down her throat."

"I think it's thoughtless that the British Fashion Council would crown a stick-thin rake as their Model of the Year. It's almost like they are asking for young girls to have eating disorders."

"Ultimo would never consider hiring a girl of her size. It's a shame other companies cannot follow suit. I'd prefer to not be named model of the year if it means being this unhealthily thin."

You may have a point there, dear Katie. But why bash a fellow model just because you think she doesn't have a body figure similar to yours? If you are happy and confident with you're body, then there's no point lambasting other women especially those who are naturally slim. After all, sexiness is not just about humps and curves, or whether you're a runway or an underwear model, it's also about personal appeal.
