Anti-Wrinkle Bra At Paris Lingerie Show

A new anti-wrinkle bra that can iron out crinkly cleavages as a woman sleeps will be unveiled at the Paris lingerie show on January 23-25.

"The Dutch designed cupless anti-wrinkle bra by Decollete is supposed to be thrown on at bedtime keeping breasts apart to prevent the formation of feared crinkles that appear in the night."

Aside from the anti-wrinkle bra, there is also a smart Slovenian brassiere whose foam cups expand with body heat when the wearer works out or flirts. Lisca's "smart bra" have cups made of memory foam that ebbs and flows with body-heat, said to be a NASA patented technology from the 1960s.

Also highly-anticipated in the upcoming lingerie show is the range of French lingerie called Milkshake that is made of milk proteins fabric that contains 10 amino acids to hydrate the skin.

Then there's Brazil's LZ with an ultra-light bra that weighs in at 67 grammes (two ounces).

These new lingerie innovations are among the many high-technology designs that will be presented during the end-month Paris trade fair.

"High-tech's playing a growing role in underwear. Take ultra-sounds for example, now used as well as laser technology to cut and construct garments without seaming or stitching," said the fair's fashion manager Sophie Morin.

The Paris fair is expected to draw in 20,000 lingerie types from more than 100 nations with more than 500 brands to showcase.

Lindsay Lohan's Fashion Is A Disaster

Lindsay Lohan dismays fashion world with her recent participation on Paris Fashion Week for luxury label Ungaro.

Under the artistic advisement of 23 year-old LiLo, the house of Emmanuel Ungaro sends its models down the runway in glittery heart-shaped nipple pasties.

Unfortunately, the brightly-colored collection is deemed a fashion disaster. Critics say the collection is "an embarrassment" that look "cheesy and dated" with an "overworked" heart motif - a totally catastrophic "gaudy series of sartorial faux pas."

"When Lohan came out for a runway bow, her eyes were full of tears. And it's easy to see why," reports the Los Angeles Times. "After all the hullabaloo over her appointment a month ago, with some fashion insiders suggesting it was an insult to anyone who had ever really worked in design, it had to have been the walk of shame to end all."

Lindsay Lohan has been hired by Ungaro with a million-worth contract to infuse youthful sensibility to the the European fashion label (aside from generating publicity for the brand).

But with her artistic advisement causing dismay, analysts say it could signal a shift away from high end brands looking for creative input from celebrities. They believed that celebrities like Lindsay Lohan are better left as endorsers of brands rather than its creators.

"I think fashion should remain for the most part up to designers to create. We need more Marc Jacobs, Tom Fords, Stella McCartneys, Donatella Versaces, Karl Lagerfelds," says one fashion director.

Eccentric Fashion At Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week was not just about Christian Dior and its anti-gloomy world climate collection. There were around 100 designers who showcased their ready-to-wear spring and summer fashion collections during the event.

And while there were many outstanding designs, there were also eccentric fashion collections at the Paris Fashion Week, from which the bizarre designs made the
designers and models more noticeable.

Take for example the collections of Japanese designer Junya Watanabe above. It's not the dresses that became remarkable but the large floral headdresses that the models wore. Critics say it was but a lovely floral derangement.

Another fashion collection that made a bang in the Paris Fashion Week was the creation of Portuguese designer Fatima Lopes (a). The suit was one of a kind since it perfectly suited the amazon characters from “Battlestar Galactica.”

To complete the list of eccentric fashion from Paris Fashion Week, a Christian Dior model also presented an outfit for Battlestar Galactica, courtesy of the famous British designer John Galliano (b).

Indeed, with the gloomy world climate today, even such eccentric fashion styles made a statement: "the fight to save humanity rages on."
