Brendan Fraser Has A New Movie!

Brandan Fraser has a new movie entitled “Inkheart,” based on the best-selling children's novel by Cornelia Funke.

In the new movie, Brendan Fraser will play Mortimer "Mo" Folchart, who also is known as Silvertongue. Mortimer is a bookbinder with the power to bring characters from books to life by reading aloud. The story centers on how 12-year old Meggie, the daughter of Brendan Fraser's character, save her father after being kidnapped by a villainous ruler from a children's fable.

Brendan Fraser will be doing the movie with New Line Cinema, to be directed by Iain Softley. David Lindsay-Abaire adapted the screenplay.

The 39-year old Canadian-American film and stage actor Brendan Fraser (Brendan James Fraser) is known for having starred in several major Hollywood films, including The Mummy film series, The Quiet American, and the endearing George of the Jungle. He was last seen in the critically-acclaimed film, Crash. Brendan Fraser just wrapped work with fellow Hollywood veteran actor Kevin Bacon in The Air I Breathe and with writer/director Michael Caleo for The Last Time.
