Paris Hilton Joins Oxford Dictionary of Quotations

Joining the ranks of some of the greatest thinkers of all time, famous socialite turned reality TV star turned fashion retailer Paris Hilton (and her wisdom) has been immortalized in the latest edition of the 65 year-old Oxford Dictionary of Quotations.

Paris Hilton's quote, "Dress cute wherever you go, life is too short to blend in" has been published on the renowned book of memorable sayings alongside that of Confucius, Oscar Wilde, and Stephen Hawking.

The 28 year-old socialite who has also been famously quoted for saying "Every woman should have four pets in her life. A mink in her closet, a jaguar in her garage, a tiger in her bed, and a jackass who pays for everything," is very delighted of her contribution to more than 20,000 new quotations that have been published on the book.

"So cool that I have a quote in the dictionary," the hotel heiress writes on her Twitter page.

Besides Paris Hilton, other new quotes on the book have been credited to former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin "What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Lipstick" and President Barack Obama who echoed the words of Martin Luther King Jr., "The arc of history is long, but it bends toward justice."
