Fashion's Night Out Opens On September 10 In NYC!

The Fashion's Night Out is the largest shopping event in New York City, organized by Vogue in participation with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York. The shopping party is expected to restore consumer confidence and boost the economy through celebration of fashion.
Throughout the five-hour shopping party, stores in the five boroughs of New York City will have celebrity and designer appearances as well as musical and Broadway performances. There will also be styling seminars, fashion shows, and photo exhibits. As a shopping party, great offers of limited-edition Fashion's Night Out merchandise, gifts with purchase, and refreshments are all expected.
According to reports, over 700 NYC stores have signed on for the event as of the last count. Among the reported models who will make appearances are fashion icons Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour, and Miranda Kerr. Top Hollywood celebrities include Ciara, Taylor Momsen, and Hugh Jackman. The list of expected fashion insiders include Roberto Cavalli, Jason Wu, Christian Siriano, Narciso Rodriguez, Patricia Field, and Zac Posen. Ivanka Trump and Joy Bryant are also expected to attend.
"Fashion's Night Out is that rare opportunity to meet the person behind the label," says Steven Kolb, CFDA's executive director.
Aside from five hours of spending and partying with the stars, the event will also serve as tool for NYC charitable endeavors. Forty percent of the proceeds from the sale of limited edition Fashion's Night Out T-shirt will go to the September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center. A city-wide clothing drive sponsored by IMG from September 10-12 will also benefit the NYC AIDS fund.
The Fashion's Night Out is going to be a huge and star-studded global event, so if you wanna go for a night of spending, partying, and doing charity works all at the same time, come dress to impress in NYC on September 10!
