Elle Macpherson: "Modeling Is A Multi-Billion-Dollar Business!"

For those who believe that the fashion and modeling industries are frivolous business, iconic supermodel Elle Macpherson has some words to say:

"The modeling industry is a multi-billion-dollar business. It is not a fly-by-night thing. We have television programs. We have whole TV stations that are devoted to the fashion industry. We create a lot of money for the U.S. economy, for the global economy, actually. So this perspective that the fashion industry is sort of frivolous or fly-by-night or tedious or momentary is actually really not fair."


Elle Macpherson, now 46, will be part of the new series to air on A and CW this fall, The Beautiful Life, which focuses on the modeling and fashion worlds.
