Naked Gisele Bündchen Is Vanity Fair's Lowest-Selling

Vanity Fair confirmed that the May issue sold only 280,000 single-sale copies. Has the naked photo of the world's top-earning model caused Vanity Fair's 23 percent drop in sales?
There are three possible reasons for the underperformance of Gisele Bündchen's covers on newsstands:
1.) People are getting bored of beautiful naked women, whether its Gisele Bündchen or not. Desensitization - it's when once sensational happening becomes irrelevant or unnecessary because of continued exposure. Naked ladies are just sooo typical these days.
2.) Gisele Bündchen is already married when she did the photo shoot and even talked on the magazine about how she sees her husband's son as "100%" her own. Guys become less interested with a married beauty and people just don't like the idea of baby snatching.
3.) Gisele Bündchen's features have become so familiar and ubiquitous that her image becomes uninteresting.
But before blaming the Brazilian supermodel for the magazine's underperformance, some folks also consider the economic recession. And then there are also few who cited not the model but the stories featured on the cover as the culprit for low sales - "the cover boasts stories about Brad Pitt and Barack Obama (really, who wants to read about them?)"
We just hope this is not the end of Gisele Bündchen's "sell-like-pancake" days. Otherwise, this would be a serious case of one supermodel outliving her own fame:
“It might be that she’s losing her looks,” says Vanity Fair spokeswoman Beth Kseniak.
