If you think supermodels are the only one who have to learn the ways of the modeling industry, think again. Parents are also affected in as much as their famous children. So it's no wonder that moms of supermodels get fashion workshops nowadays.
Rather than risk developing relationships with unreasonable mothers and fathers, moms of fashion models get fashion workshops. Most of these workshops are set up by fashion agencies with the goal of orienting the parents to the modeling industry and making them ready for fashion fame as influenced by their children.
At Elite Models for instance, parents get two-hour orientations as soon as they arrive for an initial visit to New York.
The way Supermodel Giselle Bundchen puts it, “parents are everything” so it is very important that moms of supermodels get fashion workshops. This is for the reason that “Parents are inextricably linked to the talent and have a huge effect” on their child’s success in the industry," says Ford Models’ creative director Matthew Hunt tells Portfolio.
