Open Casting Call For Gospel Stageplay

Burse Productions are holding an Open Casting Call for the Upcoming Gospel Stageplay, "If you don't want it, Don't ask for it... The Confessions of a Married Man."

We are looking for talented local actors and singers. The auditions are going to be held at the Oak Park Library on November 2nd.

SEEKING:

1.) MALE (mid 30s; any ethnicity) - DONALD. The Leading Man. Athletic built, very handsome, has to sing the husband to Elizabeth. A hard worker and loves his wife with all his heart. A man of his word. Allows a friend to influence him to become some else;

2.) FEMALE (early 30s; any ethnicity) - ELIZABETH. The Leading Woman. Very pretty, beautiful shape, has sing married to Donald. Very dedicated to her husband. She's very family oriented. She's homely until her husband tells her he needs a change. She then becomes a women on a mission;

3.) MALE (mid 30s; any ethnicity) - JUAN. Athletic built, very handsome, has to sing married to Roxana. Juan is a laid back person who loves his wife. His a professional basketball player. He has to sing;

4.) FEMALE (early 30s; any ethnicity) - ROXANA. The best friend to Elizabeth. She's a teacher. She has to sing;

5.) FEMALE (early 30s; any ethnicity) - JENNIFER. Drinks a lot. The sister to Elizabeth and the daughter to Barbara;

6.) MALE (mid 30s; any ethnicity) - JO-JO. Athletic built, very handsome. He brings the comedy to the stage. He has to have a sense of humor. He's the cousin to Donald;

7.) MALE (mid 30s; any ethnicity) - MARCUS. Very rude and disrespectful. Shows no respect to his wife. Marcus is cheating on his wife. He's very handsome and athletic built. He's controlling and he demands to be in control no matter what;

8.) FEMALE (early 30s; any ethnicity) - SAMANTHA. Very pretty, slim shape. She is a very nasty acting person. She carries herself well but very conceited. Her husband beats her and she feels as long as he pays for everything, then everything is good;

9.) FEMALE (late 40s; any ethnicity) - BARBARA. The mother to Elizabeth and Jennifer. She's very church-going but holds a grudge with her daughter whom her husband died for. She kind of favors the oldest daughter more than the youngest. She has to sing;

10.) MALE (early 50s; any ethnicity) - FRANK. The uncle to Marcus. A very handsome man who is full of wisdom and loves the Lord. He has to sing
