Casting Leads And Various Actors For NBC's "Law & Order"
CASTING DIRECTOR is casting leads and various guest stars for the upcoming episode of NBC's "Law & Order." Both Union and Non-Union Actors welcome.
SEEKING:
1.) MALE (20s; White) - MAX HAVERFORD. Trust-fund brat. Has not done much with his good fortune. LEAD;
2.) MALE (late 20s; Black) - GEORGE FOLEY. 28, decent neighborhood kid who is the sole employee in Gus Levy's repair shop. He's been with Gus for three years. He is badly beaten in the armed robbery that takes place at the shop. Had Gus not pulled out a gun and shot the attackers, George would have been killed. LEAD;
3.) MALE (20s; Black) - ANDRE JEFFERSON. Harlem resident, modest means. He decides to participate in an armed robbery so that he can score some quick cash so he and his pregnant girlfriend can settle down. He is the only one of the four man crew to survive the incident. THREE-FOUR SCENES;
4.) FEMALE (37-45; Black) - LATONYA JEFFERSON. Modest lifestyle. Her son, Andre, was one of the crew involved in the armed robbery. He was the only gunman to survive. She tells detectives that her son was not involved with gangs and that this was out of character for him;
5.) FEMALE (20s; Black) - ALICIA PARNELL. Harlem resident, modest means. She is pregnant with Andre Jefferson's baby. Andre participated in the robbery so he could make some quick cash to set them up in a new apartment. Andre was the only robber to survive but he will be paralyzed;
6.) MALE (20s; Black) - TERENCE HOBBS. Dwayne's brother. He is attending his brother's wake and is approached by detectives who have a few questions. He and his brother were quite different. Terence had no patience for Dwayne's gangster, no-good, lifestyle;
7.) FEMALE (40s-50s; Black) - DESIREE. No-nonsense kind of woman. She works at a hair salon in Harlem not far from Gus Levy's shop. She remembers seeing Dwayne and Max visit Levy that day;
8.) FEMALE (early 20s; Black) - NONA. Attractive, works at a hair salon in Harlem. She remembers meeting Dwayne the day that he and Max stopped by to visit Gus Levy;
9.) MALE or FEMALE (40+; any ethnicity) - JUDGE REYNOLDS. Presides over arraignment of Max Haverford;
10.) MALE or FEMALE (40+; any ethnicity) - JUDGE SALWORTH. Presides over motions court. He/she dismisses the indictment against Max Haverford;
11.) FEMALE (40s; any ethnicity) - SERENA KINSEY. Works in the development office of Hudson University. She discusses the Haverford family's proposed donation with detectives. They are thrilled to have Mr. Haverford's commitment to build a new library;
12.) FEMALE (40s; any ethnicity) - SALLY CORMAN. A savvy real estate broker. She gave Gus Levy an estimate on the value of his property;
13.) FEMALE (late 20s; any ethnicity) - DIANE CRUTCHFIELD. Legal aid lawyer assigned to represent Andre Jefferson;
14.) MALE (30s; any ethnicity) - LETTS. Tough, security guy who works the door of an illegal gambling parlor. Runs a tight ship - screens folks very carefully;
15.) MALE (mid 30s; Black) - SENSEI JOSEPH. 35, runs a karate school in Harlem. He used to teach karate to one of the gunman involved in the robbery;
16.) MALE (20s-30s; any ethnicity) - SGT. ELIAS. NYPD and ex-army, at the crime scene where four would-be robbers have been gunned down by shop owner Gus Levy. He speaks with detectives at the scene;
17.) MALE (20s' Black) - DWAYNE HOBBS. Gangster type, has some menace. He and some of his friends set out to rob Gus Levy's shop;
18.) FEMALE (early 30s; Black) - MOTHER. Harlem resident, she takes her son to meet Gus Levy - a true hero in her eyes;
19.) MALE CHILD (around 8; Black) - SON. 8 years old. His mother introduces him to local hero Gus Levy;
20.) MALE (25-40; any ethnicity) - LENNY. Playing poker at an illegal gambling house;
21.) MALE or FEMALE (30s-40s; any ethnicity) - COURT CLERK. Reads charges at arraignment of Max Haverford;
22.) MALE or FEMALE (30s-40s; any ethnicity) - REPORTER. Questions politician Melanie Carver outside the courthouse;
23.) MALE (25-50; Black) - DRIVER. Shouts out encouragement and praise to Gus Levy as he drives past his shop;
24.) MALE (30-45; any ethnicity) - LEON. Works at Mount Sinai Hospital;
25.) MALE or FEMALE (30-40; any ethnicity) - DEALER. In an illegal gambling parlor
