Audition Your 7th Graders For Short Film!

DWard Media, a cutting-edge video production company, is seeking actors for the production of a new short film.

The company will be holding auditions at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 13765 Olive Rd in Chesterfield in November.

The film will be entered in various film festivals: previous DWard Media films have shown in 20-plus festivals, including 3 different films in the St. Louis International Film Festival ("Ragman" plays November 13). Works have won Emmys, Tellys, and Auroras.

Most characters will not be needed the whole time. Actors will be fed and given a DVD copy of the finished film. And this is a great opportunity to get your 6th, 7th or 8th grader some needed screen time.

Synopsis:
The story revolves around a 7th grader who is left waiting for his mother to pick him up from school following basketball practice. After all his teammates (and the volleyball team) have left, he finds himself all alone in the dark parking lot. Is this the end of our hero? (No, of course not...)
