Firearm Company Needs Print And Booth Models

American Tactical Imports, a rising star company in the firearms and tactical gear industry, is looking for female models in the Western New York area.

Company's Statement:
"We import guns into the USA from around the world and market them here to civilians, law enforcement personnel, and military. We are currently looking for a couple female models who are interested in doing print work (advertisements and posters) as well as booth modeling (signing autographs and greeting customers) at trade shows.

"We have been doing this for a couple years now and have met with MAJOR success. Our first model Deb was a first time model and became the spokes girl for our 2008 campaign for the GSG-5PK handgun. More recently in 2009 we brought in a new gun, the GSG KALASHNIKOV and hired another model, Marie. In just a few short months the images we shot of Marie have appeared in six national publications (Shotgun News, Shooting Industry, Shooting Sport Retailer, Predator Xtreme, etc.)

"We are now looking for new models to continue marketing our firearms to the American public. If you are interested there are a couple of things to bear in mind. First of all, the gun industry is a very old fashioned, male dominated place. It is still very common practice to market and sell guns using bikini models and the like. Any girl who is interested in modeling for our company should be aware of this. You will always be treated professionally and respectfully in our studio and on location, but you must be comfortable with the understanding that you are being marketed as a sex symbol to help sell guns to dudes!

"Secondly, we are looking for girls who can pose for our print ads but is also available for booth modeling! ATI attends several large trade expos every year, most notably the SHOT SHOW, which is like the Superbowl of gun shows. In January of 2010 the SHOT SHOW is being held in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you are selected to be our spokes girl, you will be brought with the company on an all expenses paid trip to the show (airfare, hotel, food allowance etc.) to model in the booth and meet and greet your fans. Last year Deb came with us and had a line of several hundred people waiting to meet her for three days straight! She signed over 3,000 posters to her fans and this was all from her first photoshoot ever. This is obviously a tremendous opportunity for exposure as a model, as the shows are also frequented by photographers and other industry professionals.

"Models will be paid based on experience and how well you work with us."

We cannot provide travel expenses for print media photo shoots. We are located in Rochester New York and are looking for models in the Western New York area. If you are from farther away, we will not provide your travel expenses unless you have been selected to accompany us to our trade shows.
