Casting A Workshop Of A New Play
Elcee Horroromedies is casting a workshop of a new play that includes "13 Fat Girls" and "A Dead Cat." Runs December 11 & 12 late night at the Producer's Club in NYC. Rehearses evenings 3x a week in NYC. Lena Cigleris, director. Emily Levin, creative producer.
SEEKING:
1.) FEMALE (mid-late 20s; any ethnicity) - ABIGAIL OCHS. The perfect 1950s housewife (though the play is present day) who must deal with an influx of fat zombie women murdered by her husband invading her home. Very thin and somewhat perfect looking; LEAD;
2.) MALE (late 20s-early 30s; any ethnicity) - CHARLES OCHS. Abigail's husband, a man who deals with his attraction to fat women by murdering them, a proper gentleman but also a hugely pompous ass; LEAD;
3.) FEMALE (20s; any ethnicity) - CANDY. The head fat girl zombie, very self aware and sarcastic, Abigail's polar opposite, plus sized; LEAD;
4.) FEMALE (20s; any ethnicity) - MANDY. The only victim Charles's has not managed to kill, a beastly girl who apparently just came out of a "My Fair Lady" rehearsal, as she talks with a reasonably fake cockney accent. Plus sized;
5.) FEMALES (20s; any ethnicity) - NANDY, SANDY, RANDI, THANDIE, and MILTON: The other fat girl zombies who have come back to haunt Charles and annoy his wife. Plus sized;
6.) MALE (early 20s; any ethnicity) - JIMMY. A country bumpkin who also happens to be the handyman of Charles' and Abigail's apartment building
