"Shrek The Musical" Seeks Young Fiona

A new musical based on the hit movie "SHREK" is seeking a girl for the role of "Young Fiona." Auditions will be in October/November, 2009. Rehearsals to begin in New York City, May, 2010. Tour opens in Chicago, July, 2010.

SEEKING:

FEMALE CHILD (around 8; any ethnicity) - PRINCESS FIONA. Age 8, a bright little girl who was only recently locked in a tower. She passes her time in the dragon-guarded castle, reading fairytales about damsels being rescued by handsome and charming princes and is hopeful a noble prince will rescue her soon.

The child submitted for the role must be a great singer. This is a principal role. Child must be able to travel. Only serious actors with training should apply.
