Seeking Stage Actor For "House on the Hill"
Playhouse Theatre Players is casting House on the Hill, Mammy Pleasant's Story, a historical drama about the life of Mary Ellen Pleasant, the first African-American female millionaire, abolitionist, and the first to win the right for African-Americans to ride public transportation. Sharon L. Graine, artistic dir.; Kevin Dulude, co-exec. prod. Performances start Oct. 18 for an open-ended run (Sat., 3 & 6 p.m., at least six weeks) at the Harry Mastrogeorge Theatre at the Brewery Art Colony.
