MALE (30 to 40) - ABNER VEAZEY. Likable wimp, works for McTavish;

FEMALE (30 to 40) - DOLLY VEAZEY. Abner’s faithful, enduring wife;

FEMALE (20 to 30) - MRS. WALKER. Poor young woman;

MALE (25 to 35) - MR. WALKER. Her husband, equally poor;

MALE (40 to 50) - MINISTER. True man of God, a bit of a gossip.
