MALE (25 to 35) - Algernon Moncrieff. English gentleman, charming, witty, roguish
MALE (40 to 50) - Reverend Chasuble. Proper, decorous, has romantic feelings for Miss Prism
MALE (50 to 60) - Merriman. Jack's butler
FEMALE (50 to 70) - Lane. Algernon's manservant
FEMALE (50 to 70) - Lady Bracknell. Authoritarian, snobbish, domineering, Algernon's aunt and Gwendolyn's mother
FEMALE (20 to 28) - Gwendolyn Fairfax. Elegant, sophisticated, pretentious, bent on self-improvement, in love with Jack
