Production company is casting Actors and Extras in the Ypsilanti area for the award-winning play "Family Ties".

All speaking roles are paid a small fee per performance.

SEEKING:

1.) MALE (17-26; African American) - DARIUS. Lead Role. Must be able to pass for a high school student. (ROLE ALREADY CASTED BUT WILLING TO ACCEPT UNDERSTUDIES);

2.) MALE (17-26; African American) - DARNEL. Lead Role. Must be able to pass for a high school student. (ROLE ALREADY CASTED BUT WILLING TO ACCEPT UNDERSTUDIES);

3.) FEMALE (35-50; African American) - SHERRY. (ROLE ALREADY CASTED BUT WILLING TO ACCEPT UNDERSTUDIES);

4.) FEMALE (35-50; African American) - LISA. (Very Dramatic Role);

5.) FEMALE (17-26; any ethnicity) - CARLA. Must be able to pass for a high school student. She is beautiful, vibrant, sassy, and really into church. She is the love interest of Darius and strongly dislikes his need to protect Darnel;

6.) MALE (17-26; African American) - MARCUS. Must be able to pass for a high school student. (ROLE ALREADY CASTED BUT WILLING TO ACCEPT UNDERSTUDIES);

7.) MALE (35-50; African American) - CHARLES. Darnel's father;

8.) MALES (8-13; African American) - YOUNG DARIUS & DARNEL. ONE OF THE CHILDREN ROLES ARE FILLED BUT ONE IS STILL AVAILABLE);

9.) FEMALE (17-26; any ethnicity) - RAYANNA. Must be able to pass for a high school student(Only in 1-2 scenes);

10.) MALES & FEMALES (18+; any ethnicity) - EXTRAS. To play police officers, church service members, or are looking to help with stage crew.
