Seeking Lead Performers In "Million Dollar Quartet"

Casting company is auditioning performers for the play "MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET".

The hit musical with productions in New York, Chicago and touring across North America, is launching a national casting search seeking musicians/actors for the roles of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for future replacements and understudies for the Chicago and touring productions.

SEEKING:

1.) MALE (20's; Caucasian) ELVIS. Actor/singer/guitar player to portray Elvis in his 20s at the beginning of his career. Must be familiar with his music and able to play guitar; should
sound and look somewhat like Elvis without being an “impersonator”;

2.) MALE (20's; Caucasian) - JERRY LEE LEWIS. Actor/singer/pianist; he was rock & roll’s legendary piano prodigy and celebrated “Last Man Standing.” Must be a superb piano player, able to play like Jerry Lee Lewis; fun, energetic; comic skills a plus;

3.) MALE (mid 20's; any ethnicity) - CARL PERKINS. Actor/singer/guitar player (lead guitar); he was the American pioneer of rockabilly music and best known for his song “Blue Suede Shoes”. Must be an excellent lead guitarist;

4.) MALE (mid 20's; Caucasian) - JOHNNY CASH. Actor/singer/guitar player to portray Johnny cash at the dawn of his epic career. Must be familiar with his music and able to play guitar; tall; should sound and look somewhat like Johnny without being an “impersonator”.
