Totem Pole Playhouse (Fayetteville, PA) is holding Equity Principal Auditions for 2010 Season various plays. CORST $692/week minimum. Artistic Director: Ray Ficca
Rehearsals start approximately two weeks prior to each opening night. All dates are in 2010.

SISTERS OF SWING: THE STORY OF THE ANDREWS SISTERS by Beth Gilleland and Bob Beverage. Musical Arrangements: Raymond Berg. Runs May 29 - June 13
1.) FEMALE (30s-40s; any ethnicity) - PATTY ANDREWS. Lead singer, youngest sister. Clown of the group, adores the spotlight;
2.) FEMALE (30s-40s; any ethnicity) - MAXENE ANDREWS. Soprano, middle sister. Outspoken sister, always testing boundaries;
3.) FEMALE (30s-40s; any ethnicity) - LAVERNE ANDREWS. Alto, oldest sister. Closest to parents, tends to be a "little mother." Plays the piano;
4.) MALE (30s-40s; any ethnicity) - MAN #1. Seeking a strong actor/singer. Plays a variety of characters including Lou Levy, a New York wheeler-dealer. Also plays a wide variety of other characters including but not limited to Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Ed McMahon, and Johnny Carson;

21.) FEMALE (mid 20s-mid 30s; any ethnicity) - MARY BICKLEY. Daughter of Dr. Bickley. Served as a nurse in the hospital;

A bookish, even-keeled guy who finds himself completely out of his element when called upon to express his feelings for a woman, lie to his boss, disguise himself as someone else, and stand up to an armed mobster - while not wearing any pants";
23.) FEMALE (20s-30s; any ethnicity) - BILLIE DWYER. "A police officer, Eric's partner. Excitable and entirely nonthreatening, she seemingly lacks every skill necessary for police work, but is as eager to succeed as she seems destined to fail";
24.) FEMALE (30s; any ethnicity) - KAREN BROWN. "An accountant who has always taken pride in her accountant-like, professional demeanor - until this morning, when she finds herself filled with a sexual hunger, and unable to keep things in control";
25.) MALE (mid 40s-70s; any ethnicity) - MAYOR MEEKLY. "An Innocent, with a capital 'I'. An affable, gentle fellow. Not too quick on the pick-up, but a sweet, sweet soul";

Though he presents a gruff exterior - borrowed from some film noir detective, perhaps - he is frequently - and, at moments of crisis, invariably - a man frightened by his own shadow";
27.) MALE (20s-50s; any ethnicity) - TODD. "Speaks with a pronounced Scottish accent. A professional hit man. Cool, quiet, and perceptive when at his best, but more frequently an angry Scotsman - and the angrier he gets, the thicker his accent gets, until he is entirely indecipherable";
