New Casting For NBC's "Law & Order"


CASTING DIRECTOR SUZANNE RYAN is looking for actors for new episode of NBC series "Law & Order." Both Union and Non-Union actors are welcome.

SEEKING:

1.) FEMALE (mid 30s-early 40s; any ethnicity) - NANCY DICKS. Attractive, attorney representing Marcus Woll. She is a skillful, slick, accomplished attorney. Her client is a well-known, seasoned attorney who is being charged with murder. It appears he has a history of murdering witnesses that could negatively affect the outcome of his cases. Nancy is willing and able to play hardball. LEAD;

2.) FEMALE (late 20s; any ethnicity) - PAIGE MEYERS. Preferably a redhead but would consider any hair color, an office clerk who works at a warehouse in Red Hook Brooklyn. The company, owned by Bart Rainy, exports "used" cars to Latin America; but things are not completely on the up & up and it seems the cars are actually stolen. LEAD;

3.) FEMALE (40+; any ethnicity) - JUDGE LINDA TAFT. Presides over motion court proceedings and eventually over the trial of lawyer Marcus Woll who has been charged with murder. LEAD;

4.) MALE (40s; any ethnicity) - BART RAINY. Runs an illegal export business out of a warehouse in Brooklyn. He sells "used" cars to Latin American countries. The cars are, in fact, stolen. He has a history of loan sharking and extortion and is not rattled when detectives appear at his warehouse asking questions. He and his attorney have conspired to kill Maggie Hayes who was about to testify and expose Rainy’s unlawful activities. THREE SCENES;

5.) MALE (25-35; Hispanic) - LOU GOMEZ. Legal aid lawyer assigned to represent Wayne Avery. He is busy but competent and will ably defend even a low-life like Avery. THREE SCENES;

6.) MALE (30s; Black) - ALVIN "MAD DOG" JACKSON. "Trim and controlled", a drug lord presently serving time for murder. He was prosecuted by Marcus Woll back when Woll worked in the DA's office. Jackson continues to profess his innocence. Coincidentally, during Jackson's trial, the star witness for the defense disappeared shortly before he was due to testify. TWO SCENES;

7.) MALE (25-35; any ethnicity) - MAXWELL CAVANAUGH. ADA (assistant district attorney) he delivers opening arguments in the case against Wayne Avery and Tanya Murdock. The trial is delayed when his star witness fails to appear. TWO SCENES;

8.) MALE (late 20s; White) - WAYNE AVERY. "Uneducated, easily-riled." He is on trial for murder. He and his girlfriend plotted to kill her husband and collect the husband's life insurance money. The plan did not succeed and now he’s facing prison. TWO SCENES;

9.) FEMALE (40s; any ethnicity) - SHELLEY LOVETT. Her husband was murdered several years ago. At the time he was being held in a secret location with police protection because he was about to testify as an eyewitness to a drug-related gang killing. Just before he was due to testify he disappeared and was later found dead. Detectives believe their current case may be linked to this unsolved case and they pay Shelley a visit and ask some questions;

10.) FEMALE (30s; any ethnicity) - JANET AVERY. Wayne Avery's cousin, middle class. Wayne is on trial for murder and right as the trial commences the prosecution's star witness is murdered. Detectives suspect Wayne may have arranged to have the witness killed. Janet had visited Wayne in prison; the detectives have some questions for her;

11.) MALE or FEMALE (40s; Asian) - JUDGE JACK ISHIKAWA. Preferably Asian. Hears Cutter's request for a warrant to bug Marcus Woll's phone;

12.) MALE or FEMALE (40+; any ethnicity) - JUDGE JOHN MARCONI. Presides over trial of Wayne Avery and Tanya Murdock;

13.) MALE (30-55; any ethnicity) - DOORMAN. Works at an Upper West Side Hotel. A hotel guest was shot and killed right in front of the hotel; the cops have some questions;

14.) MALE (30-55; any ethnicity) - JEROME. Hotel security officer. He, Lupo and Bernard review surveillance video footage taken throughout the hotel where the victim had been staying;

15.) MALE or FEMALE (30s; any ethnicity) - CSU TECH. Crime scene unit technician, speaks to detectives at the scene
