Seeking Host For PBS KIDS Sprout's "The Sunny Side Up Show"
Casting company is looking for Non-Union Talent to host the new PBS KIDS Sprout's "The Sunny Side Up Show" cable; live weekday morning show.
This is a year long commitment. At times talent may be working Wednesday-Sunday, at times Monday-Friday, and then full weeks off as they go. There are 4 hosts total that rotate the days working to fulfill the 7 days a week that they air.
Pay Rate: $45,000-$50,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
MALE or FEMALE (19-28; any ethnicity) - HOST. Must be energetic, natural, and cool under pressure (It is Live TV!) Must have experience with kids in the 2-6 year age group, a playful sense of humor and desire to be a part of a team a big plus. Focus is on natural and engaging presentation skills. Strong hosting and improv skills a plus - a good portion of this show will be unscripted, and talent will have to prepare their own sample segment for the audition.
Due to the fact that this is children's programming, all booked talent will be subject to an extensive background check.
