Star With Ashley Tisdale And Meg Ryan In "Sleepless Beauty"

AQUILA WOOD CASTING is looking for union and non-union actors to act alongside Meg Ryan and Ashley Tisdale in the feature film, "Sleepless Beauty."

"Sleepless Beauty" is a modern day Sleeping Beauty story. Filming will begin in January. Non-Union and Union talent should apply. Pay Rate will vary depending on the role. Number of days filming is to be determined.

SEEKING:

1.) MALE (18-20s; any ethnicity) - APHIXIA. Almost 18 years old, Aphixia is Beauty's absolute opposite - and to say that this multiply-pierced, scathingly ironic, all-black-clad Goth girl is a character would be an understatement. However, despite their obvious differences, the two girls have been best friends since they were just 4 years old, and when danger threatens, they join forces to battle the menace. LEAD;

2.) MALE (20-24; any ethnicity) - ALEX ORB. Possibly "the most beautiful man alive," this sexy teenage heartthrob is also a brilliantly talented musician who has won Beauty's heart with his music. But when Alex moves to New York - onto Beauty's block, to be exact - he faces falling under the same curse threatening Beauty and her neighborhood. SUPPORTING MUSICAL ABILITY A PLUS;

3.) FEMALE (late 30s-mid 50s; any ethnicity) - SAMANTHA TROUT. Beauty's mother, she's an abrasive and snooty individual who makes no secret of her displeasure when Katrinka, her mysterious neighbor, arrives at Beauty's christening uninvited. In fact, Samantha is downright rude to Katrinka, and her 'tude prompts Katrinka to curse Beauty and the entire neighborhood. SUPPORTING;

4.) MALE (mid 40s-mid 50s; Caucasian) - ROBERT TROUT. Samantha's affluent attorney husband, he allows his abrasive missus to treat their uninvited guest, Katrinka, like dirt, and his failure to stand up for Katrinka genuinely hurts her, and prompts her curse. SUPPORTING;

5.) MALE (18-20s; any ethnicity) - ABERCROMBIE. Katrinka's demonic servant, he's hideous looking in his normal guise - but when Katrinka changes him into human form, he turns out to be a gorgeous, slightly gothic and quirky teen with a surprisingly sensitive side. Smitten by Beauty from the start, Abercrombie later risks his own life to assist the beautiful human girl who has stolen his heart. SUPPORTING;

6.) FEMALE (16-18; any ethnicity) - FLINCH. Abercrombie's demon sister, she's another of Katrinka's hellish minions, who is also transformed into a surprisingly pretty teenage girl. Upset when Aphixia criticizes her fashion sense, Flinch later has bigger issues to worry about - namely, the fact that her brother has been imprisoned in a tree by their evil mistress. SUPPORTING
