Personal Introduction

I am pretty busy. Um,... I've recently published a book, Behind the Briefcase, I'm hosting my own show on the Octane Network, and I just finished a new film, called The Penthouse; (not to be confused with the magazine...)

Even though I was working as a full time model, I found time to Guest Star on CBS's CSI MIAMI, and co-star on the FX series The Shield, and HBO's Entourage. I was the lead female in Motley Crue's latest video, If I Die Tomorrow. And I was also a Co-Host of TBS's Ripley's Believe It or Not, and the host of my own extreme sports series on ESPN 2 called The Hook.

In 2005, I became Model #14 on NBC's hit game show Deal or No Deal for the first 38 episodes. But, I had to put down my briefcase to begin filming my first lead movie role as Daisy Duke in the Warner Brother's Film, Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning (starring Willie Nelson, Christopher McDonald, Harland Williams, Jonathan Bennett, and Randy Wayne).

MY PRESENT

Over the past year, I have continued to keep busy modeling, hosting and acting. I was a Co-Host of Spike TV's, Guys Choice Awards, the Host of the Paranormal News with April Scott, and the Host of both Ripe TV, and the Octane Network. I have also had the lead female roles in the comedy I Do...I Did (also starring Cherry Johnson, Marcus Patrick, and Shar Jackson), the horror film Nite Tales (also starring Gary Busey and Tiny Lister), Coma (also starring Michael Madsen and George Hamilton), and I recently completed another comedy called The Penthouse (also starring Ryder Strong, Corey Large, and Jimmy DeBello.) All of these films are releasing later this year.

I have also been lucky enough to be on the covers of several magazines: MAXIM, Cover of 2008 MAXIM Celebrity Calendar, People Magazine (Australia), Breed Magazine, Image Magazine, 944 Los Angeles, 944 Vegas, 944 San Diego, 944 Scottsdale, Fitness Rx, Best Body, Sense, Rounders, Import Tuner, Knockout, Mopar, to name a few.

I was also voted by People Magazine as one of the 100 Most Beautiful People of 2006, in the MAXIM HOT 100 for the past two years, and #62 on Stuff Magazine's 2007 list of the 100 Sexiest Women Alive. Not too shabby for a girl from Southeast Missouri...

Hi! I am a NEW FACES.com Supermodel! Here is my bio:

Winner of an amazing 85 beauty pageant crowns, April attended private Christian College in Branson, MO and was awarded a BS in theater with a minor in rhetoric. Her grade point average in college was an astounding 4.083, which earned April valedictorian honors for her class in 2001.

She made the move west to pursue an acting career and arrived with a bang not a whimper. During first week in Los Angeles, April landed an agent and within 2 months had earned her SAG (Screen Actors Guild) card.

April was almost instantly cast in a co-starring role in the FX TV Show "The Shield" and not long after that, appeared in 3 episodes as a Co-Host for the TBS Show "Ripley's Believe it or Not." Her incredible drive continued as her unique look and always improving skills as an actress garnered Scott a 2 episode gig on the HBO series, "Entourage."

Next up was a guest star spot on the popular CBS Show "CSI: Miami." This particular role helped to demonstrate April's talent as an actor. A dramatic scene with "Yancey Arias" the lead actor formally on NBC's "Kingpin" was memorable. April will also be seen as lead host for a new ESPN2 show, "The Hook." On this series, Scott interviews extreme sports athletes who attempt the most extraordinary things.

And how could she top all this – In the new "Motley Crue" music video – "If I die tomorrow" – April appears as the only female in the shoot. She is THE focal point of the vid as Tommy Lee, Nikki and the boys go through various dramatic scenes.

But if anyone thinks April is just keeping busy acting – wrong.

April is the face for the new Merle Norman Cosmetics Campaign, it will be released for this holiday season/ November, she will be appearing in all of their new ads, and commercials. She also recently shot for Dreamgirl Lingerie's latest catalog and ad campaign and will also appear in a five page spread in the December issue of Maxim Magazine as the girl to watch in 2006 and is the cover model for the Nov/Dec issue of Best Body Magzine.

In addition April has shot editorials for Glamour Magazine, Shape Magazine, Open Your Eyes Magazine, and In Style Magazine where she appears with Ben Mackenzie, from the hit show the OC.

And she also will be appearing on several billboards in the next month: Coors Light, Bud Light, and alongside David Spade advertising his new Comedy Central Show.
