Bio Sketch

Donya Fiorentino was born a precocious child in Miami, Florida to a nautical oriented family. She possessed unusual athletic abilities and was adept in communication and social skills. With the help of her brother, sister and parents, this close knit family supported her budding proficiency in dance and gymnastics. She spent her summers on softball and soccer teams and parlayed this expertise into competitive water skiing. Her performances were so impressive that at age 14 she hosted a waterskiing show on ESPN. At age 17 she was 1st Runner up in The Miss Teen All American Beauty Pageant, losing out to Halle Berry. Her father taught her photography, which was soon to become one of her major talent outlets. At the same time, Donya was spotted by a modeling agent and embarked on a stellar modeling career. Starting with a Budweiser commercial, she rose to supermodel status and moved to London. Her striking looks and eccentric personality were just what the European modeling world was looking for as she spent several years modeling for Elite Model Management in London, Paris, Milan and Tokyo. She shot major beauty campaigns with Lancombe, Maybelline and Noxzema and was also a favorite with several major swimsuit and lingerie companies. Her extensive client list as a model includes, Crest, Revlon, Coca-Cola, Heinekin, Budweiser, Gucci, Calvin Klein, Federated department Stores, Vivienne Westwood, Boucheron Jewelry, Body Glove, Gortex, Macy’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Jaguar, BMW, Chevy, Sony, Maxmara, Harvey Nichols, Target, Top Shop, Oliver Peoples, Jack Daniels, Host of ESPN Sport Show, Elle Magazine, Marie Claire, Italian Vogue, Italian Maxx Harpers and Queen, Harpers Bazaar, LA Times Magazine, LA Style Magazine.

She took time away from her modeling career from 1990-2001. During this time she only modeled sporadically and began working as a photographer.
Though she still does work for long time clients, her Photography Career began to blossom. She has worked for such Publications as Interview Magazine, The London Times Magazine The Scottish Times Magazine, Red and many more.

She has a large database of personal and professional celebrity and industry clientele including: Paula Abdul, David Lynch, Lennox Lewis, Lisa Marie, John Turturro, Gavin Rossdale, Rosanna Arquette, Peter Weir, Lori Petty, Tom Sizemore, Tommy Flannagan, John Borman, David Margulies, CEO of New Pacific Realty, Donald Sterling/Los Angeles Clippers

She was married twice (first to David Fincher, Director, and second to Gary Oldman, Actor/Director) and produced three children during this time.

Undiagnosed Post=Partum depression lead to her abuse of prescription as well as street drugs and alcohol. She remains sober since January of 2001 with 6 years of sobriety under her belt.

She currently lives in Los Angeles and is pursuing the dreams she could not fulfill during her marriages, child rearing and subsequent divorces. She works as a photographer and models as well as completing several children’s books slated for publication in late 2009.
